EGSC seeks to resolve concerns and complaints in a fair and prompt manner. Students are directed to the EGSC Student Complaint page for more information about specific complaint types and resolution methods.
In compliance with the Higher Education Opportunities Act of 2008, institutions offering distance education must provide enrolled and prospective students with contact information for filing complaints with its accrediting agency and with the appropriate state agency for handling distance education complaints in the student's state. In addition, EGSC is approved by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) to offer online education to students from all SARA member states. NC-SARA also provides a student complaint process. Complaints about grades or student conduct should be submitted to EGSC and may not be appealed to NC-SARA. Before exercising external options, students must exhaust all avenues of complaint resolution by visiting the EGSC Student Complaint page.
