Fall 2025 Visa Issuance Deadline: July 30 Newly admitted international students who have not obtained their student visa by July 30th will be deferred to Spring semester 2026 to avoid late arrival and missed registration. |
You are an International Student if you:

- Are in the U.S. on a non-immigrant visa (B-1, H-1, J-1, etc.).
- Live outside the U.S. and will require an F-1 visa to study in the US.
- Are in the process of applying for Permanent Resident status but have not yet received the Permanent Resident card.
- Have been educated outside of the U.S.
Admissions Steps

- Apply online: Complete the admissions application.
- Submit your official transcript(s): Provide an official English translation and evaluation of all transcripts (high
school and college). Evaluation must include a course-by-course and grade point average
(GPA) calculation. Transcripts must be evaluated by an approved NACES or AICE member.
Upon evaluation, transcripts must be sent directly to EGSC from the credentialing
agency.

- Submit test scores: Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of academic English
language proficiency submitting official results for one of the following test score
requirements:
- SAT: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 480
- To register for the SAT or request scores you may visit https://www.collegeboard.org/
- ACT: minimum English or Reading score of 17
- To register for the ACT or request scores you may visit https://www.act.org/
- TOEFL: 69 ( this includes Computer Based, Home Edition, My Best, & Paper Edition).To register for the TOEFL or to request scores you may visit https://www.ets.org/toefl.
- Other test scores may be accepted. Please contact the Office of Admissions for information regarding other accepted test scores.
- SAT: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 480

- Financial Support: Students must demonstrate financial independence or sponsorship and are required to provide documentation of sufficient resources to cover tuition, housing, health insurance, and other living expenses. The Financial Support Forms must be submitted by the applicant’s bank to certify the applicant’s ability to pay the cost of attendance in the amount of $20, 000 (US). The applicant may also send an Affidavit from their financial sponsor and an official letter from the sponsor’s bank stating a dollar amount of readily available deposits in U.S. currency within the last six months.
- Health Insurance: all International students are required to purchase (https://www.uhcsr.com/) student health insurance.
- Upon acceptance, the student will be provided further information for enrolling in the student health insurance plan.
- Immunization Record: completed by a health care professional
- Required Immunizations:
- Varicella/Chickenpox-2 vaccinations or a verified history
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)-2 vaccinations
- Tetanus-Diphtheria (within last 10 years)-1 vaccination
- Hepatitis B-3 vaccinations

- Check your application status: This status will reflect information we have in our records. You will be able to learn of your admissions decision as soon as it is made without having to wait for an official email or admissions letter.
